After graduating from seminary in 1984, Rich Poll worked for 10 years at the Christian Research Institute in Rancho Santa Margarita, California as their Research Resource Manager where he wrote a semi-weekly research bulletin for CRI staff called the FYI. He founded Apologia in 1995 and began publishing Apologia Report in 1997. Rich received his Master of Divinity degree from the International School of Theology, San Bernardino, California. He also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing from Western Michigan University and worked as an engineer for three years prior to starting his seminary education.

Pamela Poll graduated from Western Michigan University in 1980 with a BFA degree in graphic design. She was Art Director of the Christian Research Journal published by the Christian Research Institute from 1986 to 1998. Her work on the Journal won several top EPA (Evangelical Press Association) awards. She is a freelance graphic designer. Her freelance work consists primarily of designing book covers and interiors for publishers. She has received several ADDY awards for her design. She is also a fine artist painting in oil and pastel. Pam's work for Apologia includes bookkeeping, graphic design, and editing.

Since 1989 Jane Huckaby has served in Christian nonprofits. After her career with IBM in Atlanta, she moved to Southern California as the Vice President of Operations at the Christian Research Institute (CRI) from 1989-1995. She oversaw the radio outreach of The Bible Answer Man and managed CRI’s administrative and listener support operations. Today she is Vice President of Programs Open Doors USA, an organization that ministers to the persecuted church, overseeing involvement opportunities for strategic donors. She also serves as the Director of Women of the Way, a program at Open Doors designed to deliver hope to Christian women who share her faith but not her freedom.

Paul Carden is Executive Director of the Centers for Apologetics Research (CFAR), a network of evangelical countercult ministries reaching eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, Latin America, and Africa. From 1989 to 1995 he served as Director of International Outreach for Christian Research Institute and as co-host of its nationally syndicated radio program, The Bible Answer Man. As a member of CRI's research staff, Paul was also a senior editor for the Christian Research Journal and Christian Research Newsletter. From 1983 to 1989 he was the founding president of CRI Brazil, an apologetics ministry based in Sao Paulo. Paul lives with his family in San Juan Capistrano, California and is fluent in Portuguese.

Alan Scholes is Director of Instructional Design and Curriculum Development for the International School Project (a division of the Jesus Film Project, a ministry of CCC). For the past 25 years he lectured throughout the U.S. as well as Europe, Africa, Asia and the former Soviet Union. He has been on the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ since 1969. Alan has earned three Masters degrees and a Doctor of Philosophy from Claremont School of Theology in California. For 22 years he served on the faculty of the International School of Theology and is adjunct faculty at Talbot Seminary and California Baptist University in Riverside. He has published more than 30 articles and is the author of three books.
